Empower Minds, Erase Stigma: Mental Health Awareness Matters

The Health Disparities Initiative within Take Lead addresses the inequities and disparities that exist within healthcare systems, particularly affecting marginalized communities. This initiative recognizes that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental human right. Students participating in this initiative engage in research, analysis, and advocacy to advocate for equitable healthcare opportunities. They explore the root causes of health disparities, including socioeconomic factors, systemic biases, and lack of resources. Through their research findings, students develop innovative solutions and initiatives that aim to bridge the gaps in healthcare access and promote health equity.
